ShippingSassy Minerals' website provides real time shipping prices for all packages shipped through the US Postal Service (USPS). All orders over $50, before shipping, will receive free shipping (I know!). Sassy Minerals never adds a handling charge to shipping rates. Because of the nature of the USPS, tracking information is only available for domestic packages or express international packages. If you are shipping outside of the USA and wish to have tracking information you must choose Express Shipping. Ordering and Payment MethodsSassy Minerals accepts the following payment methods:
All payments are processed through Paypal. You do not need a Paypal account to pay with a credit card. However, you will be transferred to the Paypal site for payment. Using Paypal for all our transactions allows us to keep costs low and continue to offer you our fabulous products at an exceptional price. Sassy Minerals reserves the right to cancel any order that does not match these criteria, or other criteria determined by our processor to be high risk. If you have any questions about this process, please contact Customer Service. Changing OrdersSecurity measures in place to protect customers from fraud make us unable to increase a charge amount if you wish to add items to your order. Please review your order carefully before submitting it to prevent any errors. Products and TestingSassy Minerals never tests on animals or has an outside entity perform animal testing on our products (that's so 1980s!). We do not support or endorse animal testing of any kind. Sassy Minerals does not use any nanoparticles or nanotechnology in our products (mostly because we're not sure how they could be improved by ANY technology. They're fantastic as is!). Sassy Minerals does not use any micronized minerals in our products. All Sassy Minerals' products are labeled according to the requirements put forth by the Personal Care Products Council and the FDA. All ingredients are labeled both on our products and on the product detail pages of our website. This means any pigments or coatings are labeled clearly and you will always know exactly what is in the products you buy. Internet Security and PrivacySassy Minerals ensures your information remains secure by using the very latest 128-bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption technology. Sassy Minerals does not provide customer information to other companies or agencies, unless in connection with legal requirements. We do occasionally send out e-mails with announcements and sales. These e-mails are only sent to those that sign up on our site and you can opt-out at anytime if you wish to stop receiving them. Order ProcessingMost orders are processed within 2-5 business days. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will begin processing on the following business day, because we are out being Sassy. Be advised, processing time does not include transit time, which typically adds 2-7 business days within the USA and can add up to 60 days for some international shipments, after the order is shipped. Orders are filled in a first in first out sequence. Orders with priority or express shipping will not be processed faster. (Hey, we simply do not see the shipping method until we are shipping the order after it is already processed.) Please contact us by e-mail if you have an emergency deadline and we will do everything we can to meet your deadline. If you have a deadline please do not choose first class mail. International OrdersPlease be aware that due to customs and transit times, orders can take anywhere from 3 days to 60 days to reach you. If you do not receive your package in 30 days please contact us. Please do not contact us before 30 days has passed to ask about your package, as this is not an unexpected or unreasonable delay and USPS will not assist us until this time has passed. After 30 days we will be happy to assist you in locating the package and making sure your products reach you safely. Due to international laws and customs regulations we are unable to list our products as a gift or as anything other than cosmetics on customs forms. We appreciate if you refrain from asking us to circumvent these laws. Sales TaxSassy Minerals is required by law to charge (5.5%) sales tax on orders being shipped to the state of Wisconsin. State law requires tax to be assessed on the total purchase amount, including shipping charges. Return PolicyDue to our strict adherence to hygienic standards, we are unable to accept any returns of opened products. Samples and brushes are not returnable. There is a restocking fee of 15% per returned item. We are unable to accept exchanges or returns of opened items because you changed your mind or the color does not work. We offer inexpensive samples of all our products and encourage you to take advantage of these before ordering full sizes. If your items are damaged in shipping, please contact Sassy Minerals immediately to initiate a return authorization. You may be asked to return all original packaging material, labels and contents before a replacement can be issued. If a product is received in error, we will gladly pay for the shipping to return the item and exchange it for the correct item. Product PackagingSassy Minerals packages full size products by weight. Please note some minerals weigh more than others, which results in different fill levels in the jars. However, Sassy Minerals will often overfill a heavier product, making the labeled weight a minimum weight. All Samples are filled by volume. Sizes are noted on the size charts of each individual product. Photo AccuracySassy Minerals makes every attempt to represent products accurately. Due to differences in monitor configurations, personal perception, and the inability of the camera to capture the depth and tones of mineral cosmetics accurately, Sassy Minerals encourages you to purchase sample sizes before committing to full sizes.
